JI CHANG WOOK'S BEST DRAMAS OF ALL TIME!!

Haven't we been crushing on Ji Chang Wook for a while now? He is one of the most famous and highest paid Korean actors out there. He has done many dramas and you must be confused which one to watch or where to start from? Do not worry. Your admins have handpicked these best dramas of Ji Chang Wook.

1. Empress Ki (2013)

This drama is based on the true story of Empress Ki (played by Ha Ji Won) who was originally from Korea and was sent to the Mongolian Dynasty as a maid and later made her way to become the Empress. Ji Chang Wook plays the role of Toghon Temur, the Mongol Emperor. Its a lengthy drama with 51 episodes but its worth watching. It also won the 9th Seoul International Drama Awards because it became an instant domestic as well as international hit. And not to forget, JI Chang Wook's acting is on point in this drama. He is a lazy emperor deeply in love with Ki and his cute acting will make your heart flutter. You can watch it in Netflix.

2. Healer (2014-2015)

This is the "get yourself a man who can do both" drama. LOL. He is an illegal night courier who gets paid to fight, gather information, protect someone from gangsters etc. His task in this drama is to protect Young Shin (Park Min Young) from people who want her dead. In order to stay close to her, he pretends to be a dumb boy who interns under her in her office and in this process, he falls in love with her. In the day time he is simple flower boy and at night, he is a fighter. This drama got me into Ji Chang Wook for real. He became my favourite ever since. He made international fame with this one. I watched this like 5 times maybe and after all these years, I am willing to watch it again. 6 years back there was no Netflix so I bought CDs of the latest dramas. For those of you who have gotten into K-Dramas in recent years, you all are lucky. Go watch Healer in Netflix.

3. The K2 (2016)

Okay guys another fighter movie. He just does it so well that you cant help but watch. He plays the role of an ex soldier turned bodyguard who has to protect the wife (Yoo Jin) of a famous politician. While he accepts the job and waits for his payment, he is assigned to look after the politicians's daughter An Na (played by Yoona) whom he falls in love with. Its quite similar to Healer but this is a more political drama with a lot of action. Its definitely worth the watch because man can fight and melt your heart. Mans hot!! Mans got skills!! Mans got looks!! Haha. Good News- Its available in Netflix.

4. Backstreet Rookie (2020)

I have already mentioned this drama in the previous blog. Its an ongoing drama and has garnered so much love from international viewers and has also been high viewing rates. Its about a cute love-hate relationship between a store owner Dae Hyun (JI chang Wook) and his part time worker Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung) who has been in love with him for the past three years. Dae Hyun already has a gf (Yeon Joo) but she is from a rich family and he is from a middle class family for which their relationship gets quite complicated for which Yeon Joo blames Saet Byul. It airs every Friday and Saturday. You can watch it in Kissasian or Viki to find out what is going to happen.

The Korean Film Industry in recent years has upgraded to a level that it competes with Hollywood. A highly developed and industrialised country with ultra modern lifestyle, the film industry has used every technology possible to make the best action and thriller movies. As a fan of K-dramas and K-movies, we EeZeEe girls have picked up our favourite action movies the Indian audience ought to watch. The list is in chronological order.  1. The Thieves (2012) An 2012 action comedy with a star cast, famous all over Asia and the eight highest grossing film in the Korean Film Industry. Kim Soo Hyun, Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Hye Soo are actors and actresses we see in every other drama and they have a huge fan base worldwide. Eight years back they were as phenomenal as they are now.  This movie is set in South Korea and Hong Kong. A group of thieves from South Korea collaborte with another group of thieves from Hong Kong under their master Macau Park to carry out their biggest heist- to ste...

My Top 10 Manhwas and why

Manhwa is a general term used for South Korean style comics which you will often find released in Webtoon. Unlike most Manga style from Japan, Manhwas are usually colorful and Webtoon also provides background music while you read the chapters.  Now let's move on to the list, shall we? 1. Dice(ongoing) Hyunseok Yun If you could change your life by playing a game ... Would you? And if yes, How far would you go?   I love games and the idea of fantasy world that has game-like elements to be precise, virtual reality. * spoiler free* We have our protagonist Dongtae, feeling like his life is a mess and wishes what if he could change it.   He is granted the power of a dice and a chance to become a DICER. Of course not everything is greener on the other side, it has its cons. If I have to compare it would be kind of like the movie Truth or Dare? Gamified life but also shows the ugly truth of human who go beyond human reasoning for the sake of selfish desires.  ...
